Beckett Plays "Dress Up and Cheese"

We had a playdate with friend Gavin and baby Teagan on Friday, and their mom Sarah asked if we'd be interested in a photo shoot! Basically, her friend/photographer was shooting a bunch of children's dresses and asked if our baby girls would be up for being in the photos. Free photos of B in beautiful dresses I don't have to buy? Yes, sign us up! B is so into "dress up" now that she got REALLY into it. At first she was shy (blue dress with gold) then she was running around, picking out headbands and being a silly, happy girl! She loves to have her picture taken and followed Brandi's instructions well (go over there, sit on the chair, smile at me). LOL Beckett did great - she was so happy and had an absolute blast, and I was so very proud of our sweet little doll. Here are 5 of the outfits - believe it or not she made it through almost 10 in the hour - the rest are coming soon! And this is just one shot in each outfit - she sent several over for each and we love so many!

Week 105: 7 Days of Beckett

2/7; Beckett's friends and family absolutely spoiled her with wonderful gifts - she has been having so much fun with her new books, toys, dolls and more!

2/8; Beckett turned 2 and was baptized at church - such a special day and, like her birthday party, I need to do a separate post sorting through all of the beautiful photos taken that day, many, including this one, by her talented Uncle Zach!

2/9; Mimi visi; love happy B in this pic with Beckett reading her new Frozen book from Monica with her new sheep (that sings Jesus Loves the Little Children from Aunt Devon) looking on

2/10; Sushi lunch at Avalon with her Mimi, Aunt Sharon, Cousin Laura and Mommy - B got the kid's bento box - it was huge. She loved the orange shaped like a panda and even tried to eat the peel.

2/11; "art" everywhere - even in the bathtub where she now immediately demands her "bath markers"

Week 104: 7 Days of Beckett

1/31; fun day at our friends, The Hornfecks; Beckett "borrowed" Sydney's coat and shoes - Sydney is almost 4, they didn't quite fit. LOL

2/1; family day playing at the tennis courts. B took a time out and sat in the shade behind her stroller with her goldfish

2/2; B loves the little purse and "moneeee" her Aunt Missy sent her. She holds on to these two $1 bills like her little life depends on it - so cute.

2/4; picking up B from school; she always runs straight out to this statue at church

2/5; we impulse purchased this Belle doll at Walgreens. I was so proud of her - her first sale! (it was on clearance for $8 and normally costs $35). She loves her - her shoes are removable which is a huge plus. Beckett immediately got a wet wipe and cleaned her hands. Adorable.

2/6; Beckett had a Frozen birthday party - it was so fun. Devon took beautiful photos - need to do a separate post on Beckett's special celebration!

Week 103: 7 Days of Beckett

1/24; Happy 60th Birthday, Poppa Paul!

1/25; Becks at the Avalon playground - nice enough to play on the outdoor one!

1/26; baby girl bedhead + blueberries

1/27; first playdate where B and the girls had at least 10 minutes of play without needing hands on help - getting so big!

1/28; B loves her playroom - her and Austin play in here all the time before bath!

1/29; speaking of Austin - how cute are these two at the playground?

1/30; B at the aquarium - she loved it - so fun to see her run around and enjoy the animals 

Family Playground Night

We go to the playground at least once a day, unless it's raining! It's just too easy to check the mail and play for a bit, or come in from errands and beep over to swing. This night the three of us went over and I of course had to take some pics of her and her daddy - they're so sweet together.

Week 102: 7 Days of Beckett

1/18; sick baby cuddling with mom

1/19; feeling a bit better - strolled over to the playground for a few slides

1/20; loving the beautiful weather this week - so unexpected, January, but we'll take it! So glad our angel feels better

1/21; Beckett dressed herself for our "nature walk" around the tennis courts- she is all about some rainboots

1/22; eating her favorite: "brats and mustard" - we make her eat greenbeans with the brats LOL And yes, she has on her rainboots here, too, you just can't see them
