Week 120: 7 Days of Beckett

5/23; B on the ladder at the lake - she spent A LOT of time on this ladder dipping in and out of the water!

5/24; my cutie sporting her "anna elsa frozen sweemsuit" - she is obsessed with it and cries when it's dirty and she can't wear it!

5/25; Our mermaid at Vestavia Country Club with Mimi - they had so much fun splashing around and trying out the pools in preparation for their upcoming Mimi-Beckett weekend!

5/26; trying on swimsuits! How did parents shop before online?! Really...

5/27; B never wants to leave the pool! Love her in this sweet Frozen towel

5/28; Me and my sweet girl at bedtime - such a sweet time reading with her

Week 119: 7 Days of Beckett

5/16; B plays with Pey and borrows her sunglasses - love this curly-haired cutie; she had the busiest morning with dad - Home Depot, Pike Nursery, Total Wine & More, and the Avalon - her first pinkberry and third train ride!

5/17; B and her crazy hair poses with the new plant her and her daddy picked out before church

5/18; Sweet B going to the pool with mama; she loves the "mama cubby room"

5/19; love this sweet spring/summer shot - this girl is the best

5/20; B loves to go in my closet. This time she took off all her clothes and put on my "purple dress" (it's a purple workout top). Then my silver shoes. She. is. hilarious.

5/21; B went with me and Reuben to his vet appointment - his eye was super red! He ended up having an ulcer on his eye. Beckett loved showing him "the anibals" on her iPad

5/22; Lake livin'; We had just arrived to the dock and she immediately pulled her chair up, sat down and put her feet in - so funny! She was very proud of herself - she spent the whole day on the dock and had her first ice cream sandwich at the marina with Mimi & Poppa

Week 118: 7 Days of Beckett

5/9; Impromptu pool party at baby John's birthday party! Becks and Phoebe were the oldest kiddos on site!

5/10; Mother's day at Aunt Devon's meant lots of playtime with Cousin Dane and fun times with her Gigi and Dane's Gran Muth and Pat

5/11; running as fast as she can! (love this 'sweet orange' dress on her!)

5/12; Indoor pool time with Mommy - first time in the water since her lessons last month - she did great!

5/13; last day of school - bittersweet for sure. Couldn't get her 'big beckett smile' that day - too much going on (people walking past us on her right!) but I loved this sweet half smile

5/14; last day of gymnastics for Spring - miss it already! B just loves it in there with her tough teachers who are trying to teach the girls more about confidence and following instructions then gymnastics - works for me!

5/15; stop for a pic on the way downstairs before pooltime with mommy!

Week 117: 7 Days of Beckett

5/2; Conover Touch-a-Truck Safety Event with Grandpa

5/3; I mean, really; cuties in sunnies + swim shoes

5/4; Standard evening - outside with watchful dad and diaper-only B!

5/5; her latest go to breakfast - open-faced ham,cheddar and egg muffin with diced avocado - she insists on her own knife
now. This girl!

5/6; yes! It's "swim diahperr" season! (couldn't get her to put it down for a pic of her strawberry shirt!)

5/7; watering the flowers (errr wall?) with Daddy!

5/8; B wore her first ever Auburn hat while having her sleepover with "aunt monka, unc aneee an da baby job" when the Blancos had Beckett overnight while we celebrated E's graduation in Athens

Beckett Wants the Cake

"Moma, Mama, Mama, Mommmma... Beckett wants the cake for the baby job."

She couldn't wait to taste it!

She loved it!

And for the record, so did Best Friend John Blanco - happy first birthday, baby boy - your Martin family loves you so much!

School's Out for the Summer

I am still in shock - how is her first year of school over?! More journaling later but for now, here is our baby, first day (August 25, 2014 at 18 months old) to her last day (May 13, 2015, at 2 years 3 months). The difference, to me, is just wild!

Week 116: 7 Days of Beckett

5/25; last swim lesson with Daddy

5/26; playing at the water table with Peyton

5/27; new dress in the backyard- this girl loves dress up more than anyone I know!

5/28; eating her picnic lunch on the side of the road - a driver rearended us when we were leaving the gym on our way to a picnic - bummer! She was a trooper though even when it took forever because the driver got arrested. Crazy - apparently there was a warrant out for her arrest!

5/29; Roses are coming in. And yes, she's wearing a leotard. Why not?

5/30; with cousin Dane at chick-fil-a on their way to NC to see their Great-Grandma Shaw and meet their Grandpa Shaw

5/1; cutie kiddos with Grandpa Shaw after bathtime - adorable!
