Beckett & Her Dino

Beckett seriously loves this dino. It plays music and the balls pop out and she tries to catch them and eat them. She even got one and kind of rolled it up her body to pick it up and then was able to drop it back in to get popped around. So cute! She squeals and can sit up and hold on to the side - ADORABLE. We got this toy from my old co-workers, Rachelle, Dani & Carole, I'll have to send them this pic!

Gal Pals

Remy now rolls over when Beckett pets her. Mind you, 'pets' is used loosely as it's more of an awkward 'baby slap and grab' - it doesn't hurt her though - promise! And all interactions are closely supervised (and photographed :) ). They love each other! 

Week 28: 7 Days of Beckett

Day 190 (8/17); Becks being silly with her dad - still loving our House of Mia headbands

Day 191 (8/18); Becks tried out a rocking horse at her friend Jake's 1st birthday party!

Day 192 (8/19); After the gym but before her visit to Leigh Anne's Beckett got propped up in her rocking chair for a few shots of her in this outfit from Teresa & Forrest - it fits her perfect now!

Day 193 (8/20); Happy Beckett in her crib after her nap! She is always so smiley after a good nap - who isn't?!

Day 194 (8/21); Tummy time with silly girl - she wants to crawl so. bad. In the meantime she 'supermans' with her arms & legs off the floor but head up - hilarious.

Day 195 (8/22); Sweet face on adorable girl!! 

Day 196 (8/23); Testing out her umbrella stroller - it works perfect! Can't believe she is old enough to 'face out' and be out of her carseat - what?!

Likes:

• Strolling facing out in her new umbrella stroller
• Grocery shopping - especially holding the cold cuts
• Being held upside down
• Her links - she loves to eat them as well as her sophie (her two high chair friends)
• Her dino which pops plastic balls all over the place - she is fascinated!
• Doing 'superman' 
• New mixes like butternut squash & pears or apples & sweet potatoes

Dislikes:

• Her bottles - she has NOT been eating very much of her milk (she's eating the solids good though). We think it's because of her teething.
• Teething. haha She has two teeth on bottom and they're definitely coming through on top. She has been fussier than usual and you can just see she is in pain. :(

Her Week in a Nutshell:

• Saturday: Visit to Andy & Monica's for pizza night
• Sunday: Jake's First birthday party
• Monday: Visit to the Infant Room with Andrea; visit to Leigh Anne's
• Tuesday: Visit to the Infant Room with Jill
• Wednesday: Errands in the rain with sick Mom to Publix & the bank
• Thursday: Day at home with sick Mom
• Friday: Visit to the Infant Room with Andrea; first time trying stroller & some new toys 

Beckett and Her Teethers... Our Little Vulcan

She loves these frozen washcloth strips! She sucks on them like a little bunny until they're no longer frozen, then purposely drops them on the floor when she's done! Haha I noticed after I took these shots that Beckett is showing off a little vulcan in the right photo. Hehe

Consignment Sale Success

I went to my first consignment sale with three awesome girls in my mom's group: Chanel, Josie & Hanna. We all met at Chanel's and rode out. I was told to bring cash (no more than $50), big Ikea bags and we agreed to yoga pants/chill clothes! :) We got there and the line was INSANE - the 'pre-sale' opened at 8 p.m. and clearly word had gotten out. We left by 9 p.m. and I brought all of this home, FOR $35! 

I Amazoned a few items and WOW:

$18  - Playschool Pop Toy (I paid $4)

$49 - Fisher Price Snail shape sorter (I paid $2)

$18 - Munchkin music box (I paid $4)

$18 (I paid $4)

$18 - Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Purse (I paid $3)

$28 - Fisher Price Giraffe and Blocks (I paid $5)

Comes with 4 blocks - they included an extra 10! (another $20+)

We also got the bead maze ($3), wooden stacker ($2), Baby Gap coat ($3), Gymboree Dress ($3), and Bright Starts Busy Board ($2).

So yes, I only spent $35 on what would have easily cost $250 (if I'd used Amazon Prime, not paid tax, gotten the clothes on sale, etc.). SUCCESS! Now i'm cleaning all the toys - the only downside so far. :)

Our Sweet-Faced Beckett

Hehe love this sweet girl! And love these adorable diapers! Hanna, a sweet girl in my mom's group gave her extra size 2's to Leigh Anne who ended up with extras as well! So Beckett gets to wear these sweet ice cream design diapers from Honest Company. ADORABLE.
