Beckett has always been drawn to her Lamaze butterfly hanging toy. It was the first one she reached for, and ever since it has hung on her infant car seat and helped us through many a car ride, meal time and general fussy periods. The back of the butterfly is black and white polka dots, and with her room being orange, gray and black I just knew we had to do butterflies and polka dots for little Beckett!
We got incredibly lucky with the weather - a day in the low 60's in between two snow storms that literally shut down Atlanta.
Her birthday fell on a Saturday so we had the party on the date exactly, from 3 -5 p.m.
We were so grateful for all who could come over to celebrate with us, including:
- Beckett's Gigi, Aunt Devon, Uncle Zach & Cousin Dane
- Beckett's Mimi, Poppa, & Uncle Elliot
- Beckett's Great-Grandfather Audi, Miss Mary, Great Uncle Terry, Great Aunt Sharon & Cousin Laura
- Uncle Jim Frost
- Velotas Family - Jimmy, Mary, Emma & Michael
- Prance Family - Crystal, Jason & Grady
- Carroll Family - John, Jennifer & Brady
- Young Family - Stevens, Karly, Charlotte, & Caroline
- Blanco Family - Andy & Monica
- Feneck Family - Josie, Nick & Roman
- Walter Family - Meghan, Jay & Harper
- Pete Family - Joleen, Ben & Ben
- Piccinni Family - Tracie, Guido & Jake
- Johnson Family - Sarah, Jared & Gavin
- van Reenen Family - Chanel, Jan & Henry
- Mittelbronn Family - Melissa, Jon, Madison & McKenna
- Roller Family - Sharon, Jamie & Peyton
- Seaman Family - Ruje & Mark
- Porter Family - Pat & Vivian (Cousin Dane's Grandparents!)
- Turman Family - Andrew, Laura Anne & Lee

Such a fun group! Made us even more grateful that we were able to use the backyard! The kids mostly played outside in Beckett's tunnel & in friend Henry's ball pit and tent that he loaned us! We also played inside some as the weather would be warm one minute, then chilly the next!
Adults were in and out, and the Olympics started that day so we had that on. Beckett seemed to have an absolute ball. She really seems to like having guests over and was loving the ball pit and seeing all of her friends and just playing with family - it was so fun and hilarious to see her try cake for the first time (at first she was unsure - then she was in!)
I was really happy with how all the crafts, food, sweets, decorations, photo booth and everything turned out!
