Week 18: 7 Days of Beckett

Day 120 (6/8); Happy Baby Beckett back in her jams after a family photo shoot on her four-month-old birthday
Day 121 (6/9); Bottle from Dad before bedtime - the next day he would go to work full-time ending  their month of full-time fun @ home!
Day 122 (6/10); First Monday home with mom; we battled the rain to make it to a lunch in Perimeter!
Day 123 (6/11); Happy girl before we left the house for her fifth photo shoot! (this one was for a Bright Starts bouncer)
Day 124 (6/12); Quick picture before our early morning walk with a mom and her son Henry, and a day of fun, including grocery shopping, with Monica! (thanks to the Veloti for her adorable outfit!)
Day 125 (6/13); Happy bug on the couch while facetiming with Lindsey! (before errands to the bank and Joann Fabric - someone is getting a blackout liner for her curtains - it is still WAY too bright to go down at 8:30 p.m.!) (another thanks to the Veloti, this was a gift from sweet Emma!)
Day 126 (6/14); Sweet Becks with her serious face on after her four-month shots and long nap
Not going to lie, I feel like such a happy, lucky girl to be able to stay home with this sweet baby. We had such a wonderful week. So many smiles from this one! Here are a few of her likes and dislikes from this week:

Likes:

  • Baths (still seems to be her favorite time of day! She laughs and smiles BIG for Austin)
  • Stroller rides (fell asleep during our family walk and during my walk with a friend and her baby boy!)
  • Her sleep sack (she literally smiles HUGE when we lay her on the fuzzy, fleece, plush gunapod.
  • "Standing"
  • Sucking her thumb (and putting everything in her mouth - her fists, toys, etc.)
  • Stacy, the baby wrangler at her photo shoots - she smiles SO BIG for Stacy and her funny noises
  • Her bolster - helps her when she does tummy time - she seems to enjoy it much more when we use it
  • Peekaboo - wow - she loves some peekaboo. We play with her bib and say "where's that Beckett" and remove it and she is PUMPED - very happy to be there and see you again - it's kind of awesomely adorable.
Dislikes:
  • Her blackout curtains - I think she's still getting used to them. We just put them in yesterday and I can tell she's adjusting to less light
  • Her pacifier - she seems over it and really prefers her thumb/fist/hand!
  • Sunlight - she still behaves like quite the little vampire when sun hits her face - like startles and whines
